Hickory is the most popular wood for drum sticks - it's flexible, durable and has excellent tonal qualities. We offer standard hickory, white hickory and red hickory - which is the most durable option. Red hickory is made of heartwood and has been independently proven to be stronger, more elastic, and therefore more durable than standard hickory.
